Hp Ipaq 314 – Connect to Your Office on the Go
In April 2000, Compaq created a wave in the world of ‘Personal Digital Assistant’, when they launched iPAQ. The name came from Compaq’s earlier successful venture ‘iPAQ Desktop PC’.
HP IPAQs use the MS Windows interface. But some of the models of IPAQ run on the Linux distributions too. Interesting news for cell phone lovers is that Smartphone iPAQ PPC looks like regular mobile phones and has the VoIP capability too. Go for the HP iPAQ 300 series PDAs if you are fond of voice messenger systems.
Business Navigators
The models under HP iPAQ series 300 are categorized as the business navigators. The ‘Mobility Agent’ of HP in it will help your business to deliver necessary updates to numerous devices at a time from central location. Some models of iPAQ 300 series (example: 610c, 614c, 612c) also include camera with high resolution (3 mega pixels). The camera of this device is auto-focus enabled.
Among other features, you can enjoy the broadband connectivity (wireless of course) for the data and voice services. This device is user-friendly as it runs on ‘Windows Mobile 6 – Pro’ operating system. 128 MB of SDRAM and 256 MB of Flash ROM make this device pretty fast.
Let us have a look on the navigation parts of this device. There is a special ‘touch-wheel interface’ on the numeric keypad of this PDA. You can find another three-way ‘thumb wheel’ for the navigation purpose. The touch screen of this device is of great quality. Finally, there is a 12-key numeric keypad in this device for your service. A-GPS (assistant GPS) solves the purpose of navigation in this device.
Display Features
Coming to the display, this device has 2.8 inches touch screen display with the resolution of 240×320. There is the option of wireless LAN too in this device. Through Bluetooth 2.0 (with EDR1) you can connect your device to other compatible devices and computers.
You can increase the internal memory of this device anytime by installing a Micro-SD card (SDHC) in the proper space, inside of the device. Compaq supplies a mini-USB connecter along with this device to charge it and synchronize. The 1590 mAh Lithium Ion battery ensures a long talk time and standby time for this device.
