Should i get the white g1 phone from tmobile or the samsung memoir also from tmobile?

I heard that the g1 runs out of battery really quick. I also like to text a lot so i dont know if the samsung memoir would be easy to text on because its all touch screen. please help!

I have the G1, and it does run out of battery within a day, however, if you fully charge it at night, it should be fine for the day. What really drains the battery is talking on the phone and playing music, so if you don’t do either of those in excess, the battery shouldn’t be a problem.

The G1 IS a touch screen and has a slide out keyboard, but also with the recent updates, an on-screen keyboard has been installed. Wherever you can input texts, you can also use the on-screen keyboard.
